It's great that he's doing that, but it's more than what we set out to do in 1.5. So if anything, GearShift would be TG 1.6 if the branding was still shared.
The fact that GS hasn't been adopted by many people yet doesn't mean anything. Until I started this thread a couple of days ago, only a few people even knew that it existed. So I guess I buried the lead; perhaps my subject line should have been: "GearShift exists!
