I am using Ubuntu Server 9.04 which comes out of the box with Python
2.6.2.

All the PG2 docs keep talking about it working just on 2.4 and 2.5.

The main install tutorial says:
"...python 2.6 require additional steps which will be covered in the
appropriate sections...." but never actually details any specific
"additional steps".

So far, it has been working fine.

QUESTION:

Why is there this warning on python 2.6.2 . Is it really likely to
break if I start exercising TG2 ?

Should I "downgrade" to 2.5?

Is there something else I should do in order to stay at 2.6.2 ?

Thanks
