Sorry I haven't chimed in until now.

I saw that note about Python 2.4 and Python 2.6 needing special
instructions, so I did something about it: I tested it out and updated the
docs. The updates have yet to be merged to main, though. The upshot of it
all, though, is that TG2 works just fine with Python 2.6, and has no special
instructions. As far as processes around TG2 installation and Python 2.6 are
concerned, Python 2.6 is the same as Python 2.5. The same steps to make
Python 2.5 work make Python 2.6 work.

Soon, we'll be doing a merge of the docs, and pushing them into public
status, and lots of these little questions will be answered. As it turns
out, we still will have quite a few to answer, but we've now got an actual
list, as opposed to just guessing, what the remaining holes are. It's
improving, however slowly.
