Dumping it is fine with me... > > > Anyway, notable changes: > > * Now writes all options (which are not default) out to the file > > * Saves config file to "~/.tuxpaintrc" on Linux, and "tuxpaint.cfg" on > Win32 > > * "About" text created; that tab is shown by default > > * "Apply" button gets activated in more situations (where it should) > > * "Language" pulldown option's labels (e.g., "English (British)") are > mapped to the values used by "tuxpaint --lang ..." and the "lang=..." > setting in Tux Paint (e.g., "british-english") > This is the part that I was getting stuck on. My quagmire was that if one of the languages is *supported*, but not *installed locally*... it was bothering me. I believe I was doing some wickedly lame thing like trying to get a list of installed languages and comparing that list with the list of supported languages... but that seemed a bit overkill, I dunno. Then I started moving and I haven't thought much about it. But I am done moving, and soon my DSL will be functional again. I have been kinda absent, but I'm still committed to helping in whatever capacity I can. > > It's actually pretty close to done, not counting the following: > > * It doesn't _READ_ options from the config file yet! > I have some ideas for that... but I'll check out what's been done. > * Config file stuff needs cleanup on Mac OS X in general > (both in Tux Paint and Tux Paint Config.) > > * Translations... > > * The "Default / Apply / Reset" buttons don't work quite how I want > I can take a look at these, I'll look at the TODO. > > See docs/TODO.txt and the "FIXME" comments in src/* for more. > I'll check these out and try to do whatever I can. > Please check it out from CVS and... well... check it out! ;^) Thanks Bill... > > > G'nite! > > -bill! > [EMAIL PROTECTED] Man, some trip this turned out to be. > http://www.newbreedsoftware.com/ All we caught is a tire, a boot, > New Breed Software a tin can and this book of cliches. > > _______________________________________________ > Tuxpaint-dev mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://tux4kids.net/mailman/listinfo/tuxpaint-dev > ===== <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>< Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger. --Hermann Goering <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>< __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
