Heh.  I think we're all discovering that we've got the skills and
interests to write a mini-Gimp, but also realizing that we're writing
software for 3 year old kids (and older, of course).

So yeah, there'll be conflicts.  Hopefully we'll simply continue tweaking
and adding features that are both cool and useful, AND seem appropriate for
young kids.

And hey, I'm obviously NOT beyond features like:

  --lessgreys

  --onlycrazysaturatedkidcolors

...if we end up wanting the best of both worlds. ;^)
