Me too. One problem I noticed on my wife's laptop (with some of the new colors, especially), was that the color selector buttons wash them out too much. I guess I'll need to go in and change the code a bit. Also, the bucket icon doesn't fit inside as well in 640x480 mode. But... I don't actually care enough about that to worry about it right now ;) > I'm really tired of apps using only fully-saturated colours. > (Especially cyan hurts my eyes.) *cough* Sorry. My wife has always said that my favorite colors are "the Atari colors" ;^) > A more subdued palette is easier > on the eye, and images drawn with these colours really look > better. (And no, bright, satuared colours are not more 'fun' for > kids!) True. Man, I look at some websites "for kids." Do kids actually LIKE all that rubbish? Glaring primary colors. Text made out of shapes that make the text hard to read. Tons of noise. Way too much animation. Bah! It's been pretty irritating trying to get the word out about Tux Paint to some of these sites, since they end up eating all my CPU. I think the point is, "Silver" is less a color, and more a description of shininess and reflectivity. I think a true "silver" color would be more like a grey drawn with gradients. Kinda like the Rainbow brush, but... hmm... ooh... maybe it's time to add a new Magic tool...? >:^) <snip> > (This is easier said than done. Yeah, I was a little concerned that Albert may have affected this, and was hoping you'd take a moment to tweak any, if needed. Could you do me a favor and add a note (and any tips you can think of) regarding this in a /* comment */ inside src/colors.h?
