Indeed. Tux Paint is beginning to get *really* slow on
start-up now (and I use --nosysfonts).

And it will only get worse. (I've spotted many nice images from
openclipart.org I'd like to include as stamps.)

FWIW, I prefer this solution.

But not *all* stamps have to be loaded to give access
to the stamp tool, do they?
