I had an idea while waiting for Pardon the Interruption this evening.
Give the moderators a "mute" button (ala Around the Horn) and the
debaters a "shot clock" they can see.
Mod: Sen Obama, you have 90 seconds to answer *mutes McCain*
** 90s pass **
Mod: *mutes Obama in the middle of a sentence* Mr McCain you have 2
minutes for rebuttal *open McCain's mic*
