BTW, just to nit-pick, it's not the first time in 28 years and four
networks that John Madden will not be announcing an NFL game on a
Sunday night. There was that "Monday Night Football" gig - not to
mention the years of Sunday afternoon football. I'm also thinking that
John is having trouble facing a season without Brett Favre as a Green
Bay Packer. The sight of Brett in a green Jets uniform is either
confusing him or just breaking his heart.
