Well, it is all I can do to stomach one of these NY Eve programs, I don't think I could have survived two of them in one year (unless in exchange I skipped all of them next year). I don't know exactly why we watch these shows - I guess it gives some sense of community - though we are always on the phone with friends and family at midnight anyway for the most important part of that. I have vague memories of watching Guy Lombardo (a dude who at that young age never made any sense to me) with my parents.
