YACS!

Eve Myles - in "Journey's End" (series 30, episode 13), the Doctor is
talking to Gwen (@ the Torchwood Hub) over the subwave network, and
the doctor asks if she comes from an 'old Cardiff family'. This was a
reference back to "The Unquiet Dead" (series 17, episode 3 - the
Dickens episode) - Eve Myles plays a woman named "Gwyneth", who works
as the assistant to an undertaker and (unwittingly) becomes the portal
to Earth for a race of gaseous beings via the rift referenced multiple
times in both Doctor Who & Torchwood.

Freema Agyeman - prior to her appearances as Martha Jones in series 29
& 30, she appeared in "Army of Ghosts" (series 28, episode 12) as
"Adeola Oshodi". I don't immediately recall this character, but I
suspect she was Cybermen fodder @ Torchwood Canary Wharf. Given the
probable elapsed time between the Battle of Canary Wharf and the
events of "Smith and Jones" (series 29, episode 1), I don't see any
way that this character could be an ancestor of Martha's.

I'm very curious as to who ends up being cast as the 11th Doctor,
although one popular pick is off the table - Robert Carlyle has taken
a role on "Stargate Universe".
