I was watching the Super Bowl at the home of friends who are still on SD. The graphics were cut off on the edge of the screen on the "MacGruber" ad, and suddenly I realized -- ohhh, their cable company is providing NBC in SD by "center-cutting" the digital signal of the affiliate. It was more noticeable on "The Office," where a lot of characters were halfway off the screen while they were talking. -- Jim Ellwanger <[email protected]> <http://www.ellwanger.tv> --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV ....
