This is pretty stunning - I remember when I was in college at SU, there was a huge rivalry between WSTM and WTVH. It's almost unfathomable to think that the two stations would be merging news ops.
Also, just an aside to my peeps in the Philadelphia DMA, both Kathy Orr and Tracy Davidson come to the 'big city' from WTVH. I have an image of the two of them traipsing through the NY State Fair forever burned into my memory because of the lunacy of it all. Currently, they're on opposing stations - Orr is on KYW-3, and Davidson is on WCAU-10.
