I'm sure the advertisers assumed Fallon was going to be targetting a
younger audience, but if that's were true, why are the big-time guests
on the first two shows a 66-year-old shell of a formerly great actor and
a 40-ish comedienne who made her name in political comedy/faux news?
Are the kids really looking forward to that interview with Donald Trump
on Thursday. night?

I'll give you Timberlake, Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore as skewing to
the younger kids (hell, throw in Billy Crudup too, since he's promoting
a movie aimed at the comic book crowd), but based on the guest lists so
far, I don't see the target audience being any younger than Conan's was
the last few years. 18-34 sure, but closer to the 34 end than the 18.
