I asked this question on my Facebook page and so far have no response, so I'll pose it to those of you who've seen "Watchmen":
The Chicago Tribune's Michael Phillips, in his one-and-one-half star review of the film (Ebert gave it four stars), calls Malin Akerman (Silk Spectre II) "the worst actress in Hollywood." Since I've only seen her play what seemed to be a heightened version of herself as the character Juma on "The Comeback" (with any bad acting in the show- within-a-show "Room and Bored" seemingly on purpose) and thought she was believable--is she really as bad as Phillips says she is? (Ebert doesn't say one way or the other.) As if and when I see the movie, I'm going to be paying any attention to Akerman when Carla Gugino's in the picture. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV ....
