I got the first disc of the first season of the Sarah Silverman Show through Netflix. I was put off by the vulgarity of it until I hit the fifth show or thereabouts, the one about the beauty pageant. That show as excellent and innovative. So was the next one. I'm wondering how good the the rest are, before I waste precious Netflix rentals on them (i'm on the one-at-a-time plan). I see the second season is rated a whole star higher, but that may be because only the hard core Sarah Silverman fans rent the second season, so they're going to rate it higher.
