Harry Letterman probably told his parents to get married already so he
could have a positive role model when to comes to relationships, like
say Johnny Carson, Hugh Grant, Britney Spears or Nadya Suleman.
Mrs. Lasko-Letterman doesn't crave minutes on TMZ, the photos aren't
being sold to US, People, or OK. It was apparently a quiet affair that
was only made public because it would have shown up in the local Montana
newspapers. ("Small Town ... Small Town News.")
At which point I pretty much say : that's nice. At least Peter Segel and
Joel McHale have a couple minutes worth of show this week.
I don't care whether Bachelor #8 dumped Bachelorette #23 for
Bachelorette #4. I don't care whether Leann Rimes is sucking face with
her Lifetime movie costar or back kanoodling with her husband. I don't
care if Mario Lopez is secretly doing the horizontal mambo with his
"Dancing with the Stars" teammate. I don't care if Lindsay is back with
Ms. Ronson. I don't really care if It's Miley is dating a potential
statutory rapist. And I really dont care if Angie stole Brad from Jenn
who dumped John Mayer because of his Twittering.
If your views on marriage or own personal relationship depends upon
knowing details about any of the people in this email, you have some
serious problems.
Dave is a (reportedly highly self critical) 60 year old guy who might
not had a kid had it not been for his heart problems with a previous
failed marriage, whose personal life has made headlines thanks to
stalker Margaret Ray and assorted schmucks wanting to kidnap his son. He
certainly cares what anyone thinks of what he does with Ms. Lasko-Letterman.
