Another fun read, albeit way subjective. BTW, Kevin, as regards things you don't like, I can understand indifference towards the first season of "Buffy," especially the first few eps before they found their rhythm and voice. But the second, third, fourth and fifth seasons were chock full of terrific! In fact, the 2000 season episode "Hush" was justly nominated for an Emmy in the best original writing category. It's a one-off that doesn't require knowing any back-story, and I'd heartily recommend seeing it. But evidence suggests you have already made up your mind that it and anything else Whedon does (such as the wildly entertaining, engaging "Firefly") are not worth your attention. So be it.
