Facebook won't let you register under a name not your own. (which is why I refuse to use it. That invades my privacy, and I don't go there as a result.) Facebook may also well be blocked in Iran. People can SMS in updates to Twitter, bypassing the bans of the Iran gov't. I don't know what SMS means. I see the advantage in the current situation of remaining anonymous - but I have also been seeing the disadvantage all day - there seems to be lots of disinformation being spread, either intentionally or unintentionally. In that kind of environment, doesn't that threaten the credibility of all reports that are going out? It has been fascinating reading the twitter reports from Iran, but it so far has not made me want to start using it. Perhaps if the Obama-Nazi's take over the Napa Valley I will use it to file my reports. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV .... Smart (TV) People on Ice!
