Here's the long and short of Facebook vs Twitter in this case
Twitter is open to everyone, you don't even need a login to view people's
post. just their URL (unless it's a protected user).  plus it's easier to
search through twitter if the post is using the hash tags.. #TVorNotTV as an
example.
