I'll come off as a conspiracy theorist for suggesting this, but could the threat of this be why Letterman was less than his usual caustic self in recent months? It is kind of tough to crack wise about the personal (and in many cases sexual) indiscretions of others if you're worried about people finding about your own jackassed behavior. -- Kevin M. (RPCV)
