Yes. But Leno was headed for a number below which no man could live. If in the last full week of sweeps he actually turns the corner and posts an improvement, that will help. If affiliates are going to jump ship unless Leno gets a rating over 1.7 or so, then there is, and never has, been any hope for his show. But if (as NBC has repeatedly claimed) he can be profitably for all at 1.5, then a turn around this week is huge for him. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
