The Daily Beast has a summary of the day's "events" (rumors+denials) so far"

I agree with Stelter - piecing together the tea leaves, it looks like NBC is
planing on moving Leno back to late night, maybe as soon as after the
Olympics. It also sounds like they are hoping to spin this as Conan is still
the host of the Tonight Show, which just starts later, and that the Jay Leno
Show has not been canceled (since it has always performed "just as we
expected it to") but had its time slot moved to 11:30/5). I would bet they
want the Leno show to be 30 minutes, and then start the Tonight Show at
Midnight, but if Conan refuses to smile and swallow this, they will probably
make the Leno show an hour, and eventually give him back the Tonight Show.

I am no fan of Leno's, but have always defended him personally in his
various intrigues. I don't blame him for what happened with Dave, and I
don't blame him for the 10:00 show. But if he really does go through with
this rumored move, and takes Conan's time slot, then I will have to give up
defending him - that would be a low class move.

For the 100th time, I will repeat my advice: Keep Leno at 10:00 on T-TH.
