So, NBC has enough reruns of enough shows to fill the 10 pm hole and get better
numbers? They boosted their pilot order over last year, but what do they have
in the can that can start in 7-8 weeks? Do they repeat the USA shows that will
be heading into reruns sometime in March? Friday Night Lights in strip?

If they're ready for a hole that quickly, they've been hiding a lot more than
the level of their desperation.

Anyone want to speculate about what goes in at 10:00 now, and where
Conan ends up if/when he leaves NBC?

As far as the second question goes, I can't see him going to ABC
because Nightline was beating him and I doubt he'd want a
post-Nightline slot, so it's either Fox or cable (unless Dave does
something crazy, makes a second "screw you, Jay" move and hands his
show over.) If it's cable, I have a hard time thinking of a network
where he'd work, if you assume that any member of the NBCU family or
any network that already has a late-night chat show is out of the
running. I could see his appeal being compatible with Adult Swim, but
I don't know if he's in their price range.
