Christian Pat Robertson blames Haitian earthquake on Haiti's "pact with the devil". Really? Tens of thousands - maybe hundreds of thousands - of human beings are dead or dying, millions more have had their lives horribly degraded, and this is the message Jesus wants delivered? I am willing to cut Jesus quite a bit of slack - I understand he can not be held responsible for every stupid ass thing every one of his bat-shit crazy followers has said over the last two thousand years. But I have pretty much had it with this crowd. Republicans want Harry Reid to resign because he used the word Negro? I expect every single Republican to immediately condemn and repudiate this asshole. And it is about time Jesus did something about this particular idiot himself. I assumed this was some kind of sick joke the first time I read it, but then I saw a clip of Robertson actually saying this on his show. Where are the obscenity censors when you really need them?
