I wish Time Warner had a setting like that for their set-tops, but my DVR is
still running the comparatively bug-free older software, so maybe I
shouldn't be hoping for them to monkey around with it.

Then again, an arrangement of channel numbers that makes more sense would be
helpful, too. Austin's arrangement has almost every basic cable channel
twice (once with a two-digit number and once with a three-digit number) and
every non-broadcast HD channel twice (once with a three-digit number and
once with a four-digit number,) and there is no discernible correlation
between the 2-, 3-, and 4-digit numbers for a channel.
