YACS.  Technically the specials count as the tail end of series 30
(or, if you're being daft like the BBC, "season 4"), since within
canon they fall after the events of "Journey's End" but before the
regeneration from 10 into 11.

"Eleventh Hour" (which, as I just noticed, is a huge play on words) -
without spoiling anything, a huge thumbs-up.  Moffat has made the
series fun again.  I'll withhold further comment until after it airs
on BBCA next weekend.

Torchwood - series 1 was sort of 'meh' for me, although it DID serve
to get Capt. Jack to the events of "End of the Universe" and the DW
story arc that followed.  Series 2 was much better, and I REALLY liked
the Children of Earth miniseries.  But YMMV.
