This has been gnawing at me since her intro on The Law Show. What exactly does she do as "managing editor?" Does she really hae that much influence over the entire direction of CBS News. I'm sorry, but I can't see someone who can't even write her own blog taking the reins of a major new organization, even if it as been trimmed of staff recently. But then I see Brian Williams has the same title for NBC News. Can someone help me with this? I just don't see a newsreader giving major direction to an organization. This is mostly for show, right?
