The pilot episode struck me as a well-meaning attempt at using the classic live sitcom in a new way. But -- setting aside my love of Betty White and my unabashed lust for Valeri Bertinelli -- it isn't particularly inspired. It isn't that it is a bad show, but we've seen it before.
