The worlds largest ball of twine is in Cawker City Kansas, not Minnesota. (and happens to be owned by relatives of my partner) The one in Minnesota is the second largest. I have a picture of me standing next to it with a cigarette lighter underneath it if anyone cares.
Depending on your time of travel, Sturgis SD will have the country's largest biker gathering...it is an awesome thing to see!
