And, just as always, Cablevision, a cable TV monopoly thanks to an antiquated franchise system, is quick to charge customers for programming, or blocking programming that the content originator wants on basic vs. premium that competes with similar programming owned by Cablevision that they charge a premium fee for, yet offers no rebate when programming is denied.
Cablevision customers pay the highest average cable rates in the country yet suffer from the same level of disservice as any other system's customers.
