Watched it for years. Watched his last two "special" comments. It is
becoming my new SNL. For years, I had hopes that SNL could return to
some of its former glory and would try to catch one or two episodes a
year in the hopes somebody there would be able to pull Lorne Michaels'
head out of his ass. I did the same thing with the post-Sorkin seasons
of "West Wing," hoping somehow the quality could be restored. I was
delusional, of course, but I was a fan. I appear to be doing the same
thing with "Countdown," and am just as frequently disappointed.
