According to IMDB, the TV series categories have (at least in name) always been "drama" or "musical or comedy" since they split them up in 1970, but I can't think of anything other than Glee and Cop Rock (which won Emmys, but was not even nominated for GGs) that would qualify as a TV musical series. -- David J.
