I actually thought the local kids show episode had a lot of potential,
but got bogged down in some stupid show from Phoenix. Nothing against
the good people of Phoenix (Phoenicians? Phoenixites?), but there were
a half-dozen shows in Los Angeles alone that were more entertaining
and clever. I assume that the choices were made according to
availability of footage, but I welcomed the chance to see what was
happening in other parts of the country when broadcasting was still a
regional concern and got a couple of Arizonans in wigs being not very
funny.
