We like this show a lot in my house - it really is one of those "shows for
the whole family". It is not nearly as smart as it thinks it is, but it has
just about as much heart as it thinks it has, and that makes up for a lot,
if you can tolerate the corn.

I liked their time-travel plot, partly because they at least tried to deal
with the consequences, and partly because it was a clever way to re-boot the
show.
