New York Times reported that Wimbledon becomes exclusively live to cable. OTOH ESPN3 has been good at carrying the BCS games and Sunday Night Baseball. As long as the rightholders don't block it, they seem content in streaming, in order to provide value to the ISP.

I suspect those with non-cable access will be able to watch early rounds online on ESPN3, and the Finals (maybe even the semis) will be on ABC. I think even NBC this year said that the Finals were available online today with some kind of special DVR features. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
