My prayers are with you and your family, Bob. I understand how one can get frustrated by health care, but I also understand that doctors don't need to be quirky, brooding guys with canes to get the job done.
When my mom had her heart trouble a few years back, her doctor's name was Gandhi. He quite literally saved her life, so much so that we now say two things related to that time, "Thank God" and "Thank Gandhi."
