You aren't too far off on the details. Look, I guess I am nitpicking.
Yes, Kardashian was there for OJ in some capacity, whether as a
friend, a confidant, or as someone who suppressed valuable and damning
evidence. But a defense attorney does certain things (speaks to the
judge, prepares trial material, delivers opening or closing
statements, interviews witnesses on and off the stand, creates briefs,
to name but a few). Robert Kardashian sat in a chair. No member of the
defense team ever credited him with doing anything. He was never seen
doing anything "lawyerly." OJ's oldest daughter was in the courtroom
throughout most of the trial sitting right behind OJ. If Robert
Kardashian qualifies as a member of the dream team, so does she. And
so does Gerry Spence. And Geraldo.
