You are not alone.

There are only 24 hours in a day. I can't remember when I was last caught
up with what I have recorded. I like the idea of Netflix, but I've never
joined, for the simple reason that I don't have time. And, I'm now retired!

The wife and I have tried Netflix a number of times, and each time
have gone down in flames. The best description I ever read of Netflix
was on either Salon or Slate. That going back was like getting
together with an old girlfriend: "-This- time I know how to handle
her." There were just too many occasions when a disc ended up sitting
on a shelf, gathering dust for weeks or months.

Maybe the streaming experience is different, but I have so much stuff
from TCM stacked up on my VCR that I really don't need it. It might be
handy for research when I direct a play, but, as much as I wish them
well, I really don't miss them.

Or am I alone here?
