FWIW, I don't have a streaming plan (in fact, I'm just 2-discs a month, one at a time), which may explain why I haven't seen any official notice from Netflix.
For reasons that I have to chalk up to writer error or my disappearing mental faculties, the ticker on the Bloomberg channel running in my office building's elevators was reporting this change as a decrease in streaming and DVD services. During high volume periods they restrict the second stream. I too am wondering what will happen with the stream-only plan - will everyone be restricted to 1 (sometimes 2)? If you also get multi-disc plans will this give you access to additional streams? Is part of the payoff for Netflix here restricting the streams (I think I read somewhere that Netflix accounts for a huge fraction of total band width use, and either that costs Netflix, or someone was thinking of finding a way to charge them, for this). -- TV or Not TV ....
