"Alias" was particularly blatant. I remember Sydney and Vaughn driving a
Ford Focus in one chase, and they kept cutting in closeups of the "Focus"
badge on the back of the car.
It reminded me of an old Mad Magazine satire of Efrem Zimbalist Jr.'s "The
FBI," in which Mad ridiculed the show for working in references to Ford
cars in every episode. Their satire was called "The F.I.B.," which stood
for "Ford Idea Better."
