To Dave's second point, it was pretty easy for me to just glom on to the back of the line for the second taping of the day. Perhaps the jokes about the audience not getting into Price is Right won't be as fanciful in the future.
As to his first point, perhaps there's a space in TV City where the seating could be bumped up a bit (150-175), and additional space available for a permanent music/comedian performance space. Put another way, take up some of the additional space so you don't have to move set pieces during the taping. For as much as I scorn the douchebag, Arthur does seem to have a larger space that is set up such that you don't really lose that 'basement' feel. One is part of the charm of the show is its "small audience makes it seem more like these folks snuck in to do a TV show" (like the early years of "LNwDL"). The second is, I wonder if they'd be able to fill all those seats every night. I suppose there are enough tourists desperate to see a TV show that they could do it, but I get almost a cult vibe from the current setup that I think would be diminished by people who just wandered over from the Farmer's Market. --Dave Sikula -- TV or Not TV ....
