The taping of Top Gear I attended mid December was probably among the
last of this coming season, which would mean any "news" segments will
be nearly five months out-of-date. The show's format has evolved into
something different than the UK series, relying almost entirely on the
challenges amongst the three hosts. My two favorite segments are the
challenges and the news, and my least favorites are the test drives
and Stig lap times, so I'm fine with the omissions.

Anybody catch Stig... er... I mean Tanner Faust in "Octane Academy"? I
downloaded the first episode as a video podcast a few days ago but
haven't sat down to watch it yet.
