That has always been the case with CBS comedies. Renewal prospects tend to be more dependent on what's cooking in development than on ratings (as they all tend to get ratings high enough to guarantee renewal on other networks). Now, I get Rob's prospects are dependent on both how other shows in development looks and if CBS hopes to expand comedy to more time-slots.
