The song space in this show that could only have been where Springfield's "The Look of Love" would have been was the centerpiece of the entire episode. The song we actually heard was French in origin, and integrated both with the character's background, and her personality, and with comments and bits of business later in the show. To switch it out would not simply have been a matter of playing a different piece of background music, or having one character come back to lip synch to different words. -- TV or Not TV ....
