Seacrest didn't fire those people. He's a guy who is getting young ears where Dees and Kasem weren't. Clark hired him to do the job he could no longer do. You don't have to like him, but he is a rare success in a dying industry.
And radio doesn't have a farm system. It doesn't need one. It needs a death certificate and a funeral. Beyond local stuff like sports, radio is out. Because why listen to anything with a commercial if you can just play your music without interruption via an aux cable from your iPod to your car? So don't blame Seacrest.
