Rob Owen of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette wrote a followup review of
Smash, where he liked the parts of the musical and did not like the
personal stories plots as much.

He did, however note this:

What has me most concerned about the show's future are reports that
with the departure of show creator Theresa Rebeck, NBC executives want
the show to be less focused on the Broadway show and more on the
infighting between characters, which is exactly the opposite of what
"Smash" should be in its already-ordered second season.

He also noted that a first season soundtrack album will be released tomorrow.
