The Times is now trying to explain that Stanley was given too many
assignments that day - she also had to cover the cable news reaction to the
Supreme Court decisions.  That's bogus because Curry's farewell was around
8:50AM and the Supreme Court decisions started trickling out after 10AM.
 Stanley didn't watch it live and didn't even bother to record it.  For a
paper with some good reporters who cover television - Carter, Stelter,
Carrr - she's a disaster.
