Glee is not a good show - not because of the music (some choices are good; some are not) - but because none of the storylines have ever rung true in any way. If you wanted to watch a show that has as little as possible to do with reality, then Glee would be your best bet. That said, I do recommend The Glee Project. Currently, it's probably the best reality singing competition on the air (although it does have many eye-rolling moments). This afternoon I got a FB message from someone that included a link to the youtube video of the Glee performance in question and asking me for a comment. After watching it the main question I was left with was the one I have always had about Glee - is the show about a high school Glee Club, or about a Lip-Synching Club? It was also one of those rare moments when every single reason I have ever had for avoiding Glee was instantly confirmed. If I were Coulton I would be suing not for copyright infringement, but for defamation of character in associating his name with what seems to be a really awful program. -- -- TV or Not TV ....
