The thing that all the podcasters who are showbiz professionals like is their freedom. The time might have come for a network to negotiate with talent for a show where there is no network interference but I would have to see it. As for how much it would cost to get Baldwin - right now he does one interview every two weeks and he would be doing five a week. I think the story is similar with Pollak. He likes his independence from network pressure and probably the way he can let his interviews meander on without dividing them up into segments to be broken up by blocs of commercials.
